Before a company launches a new marketing campaign of any sort, a common question we hear is “when can I expect to see results?” The answer to that question? Well, unfortunately, there’s really no simple answer.
Different marketing campaigns and different audiences mean different results
The main reason for the reason why we can’t give a clear-cut answer about when you can start seeing the fruits of your marketing labor is the fact that every marketing campaign and every audience will vary. For example, if you’re boosting a post on Facebook for fifty dollars for a week, you know that after a week you’ll have the results of how many people your post reached, how many people engaged with it and how many people clicked on it. Pretty simple!
However, more robust marketing campaigns, like optimizing your website or content marketing are going to take a little more time. Everyone wants to be on the first page of Google, but search engine optimization campaigns may take six to twelve months to see results.
Analyzing what works in your marketing campaigns
We also like to stress that it’s vital to test and analyze the results of your campaigns so you know just how effective your efforts were. This way, you can determine if it’s worthwhile to run the same campaign again. Or, you’ll know what sort of tweaks might be needed to better reach your target audience.
