The pros and cons of SnapChat

I’m still a newbie to Snapchat but I’m really starting to get the hang of it.  Personally, I follow-up a few “YouTubers” on SnapChat and it’s great because I get to see what they’re doing in between filming for videos YouTube. Most of them publish content to YouTube once or twice per week and I’m enjoying the behind-the-scenes insight into how they create content.

I find some of the filters and cartoon-ish icons to be annoying at times, but it looks like younger millennials love that kind of stuff. As a marketer that’s helpful for me to know!

Also (since we recorded this episode) I’ve started seeing advertisements on the platform.  Obviously I’ll be curious to see how this evolves.
